About Us
Eagle Care Homes Ltd was founded by Mr and Mrs Spencer in 1999. Eagle Care Homes Ltd provides residential care in
Huddersfield, Rochdale and Halifax. The Eagle Care Home in Halifax is the flagship of the four homes, as it was the first
home acquired by the company.
We focus above all on ensuring that our residents receive the care they need, in a way that is dignified, and in
a way that ensures they are happy and comfortable. Many of the residents at the Eagle Care Home have lived here for a number
of years and openly express their satisfaction with the service they receive, and this is reflected in the comments received
from the inspector in the inspection report.
We are committed to providing the highest standard of care at the Eagle Care Home and for us to maintain our high
standards we actively seek the views and comments of our residents, their relatives and any other visitors to the Home. We
carry out surveys on a periodic basis, giving people the opportunity to provide feedback on how well or otherwise they feel
we are carrying out our function. The development of our services is based on this feedback, thereby ensuring that we continue
to implement improvement, and change to meet new and changing requirements.
Most residents agree that the quality
and variety of food is an important element of service provision and therefore this is one of our highest priorities. Our
cook ensures that our food products are purchased only from top quality suppliers and daily deliveries enable us to serve
fresh, homemade meals every day.
Our food surveys help us to buy products, which are preferable to our residents. This means we can provide products
that residents themselves would buy for themselves.
Personalisation of rooms is promoted,
and our staff are trained to understand that every one of our residents is individual, and that only by respecting and meeting
these individual needs can we ensure that every resident is comfortable and happy.
